ASTM and General Use Thermometers

New ASTM Thermometers, hydrometers and test methods are continually being developed, refined and improved, often in conjunction with other standards writing bodies such as the IP (The Institute of Petroleum of Great Britain) and ISO.

We at ICL are proud to play a role in this ongoing standards writing effort by serving as volunteers and corporate members of ASTM E20.05, the committee responsible for thermometers (ASTM E-1), hydrometers (ASTM E-100), and the test methods (ASTM E-77 and ASTM E-126, respectively) pertinent to these products.
